Form Download Information
A scholarship information sheet, the application form, and the instructions for completing the application form are available for you to download in two separate formats (.doc and .pdf) as explained below. You may download and use either or both formats but you are strongly encouraged to use the .doc format if at all possible because it will be so much easier for you to complete the application form.
.doc These files were created with MS Word® 97 and, to properly use the files, you will need to open them in MS Word® 97 or later. It is also suggested that you download the file to your computer first before trying to open the documents. If you open the application form “on-line” – depending on how you have configured your preferences - it may not function as a form document as intended. If you do not have MS Word yourself, you can still down load the files in that format, save them to disk, and take the disk to another computer that has MS Word®. The advantage of using this format is that the application form is configured to be completed electronically. You need only tab from field to field to enter the data; you can then save the file with your data entered and return to complete or edit it at your convenience.
.pdf These files were created with Adobe Acrobat®. You may open the files “on-line” and save them to your computer, or save them first and open later. You may open, view, and print the files with Adobe Acrobat® Reader, version 5.05 or later. The advantage of using .pdf formats is that the Adobe Acrobat® Reader application needed to open, view, and print the files is available free on-line. If you don’t already have a copy, you may click here to download one. The overriding disadvantage of the .pdf format is that you cannot edit the file. To complete the application form you will need to print a blank form and then complete the form manually or with a typewriter. Either way will be quite difficult and is not recommended.
